Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Senior Full Stack Lead Developer to architect and deliver scalable, secure applications using Java/Spring Boot on the back end and React.js on the front end. You will guide Agile ceremonies, translate complex business needs into technical tasks, and mentor a growing engineering team.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in full-stack development, strong SQL optimization skills, and deep experience with Agile/Scrum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional full-stack design and software development.
• 3+ years in a technical lead or mentorship capacity.
• Deep expertise in Java (Back-end) and JavaScript/TypeScript with a focus on React.js.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum with ability to lead iterative engineering delivery.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build secure, high-performance applications using Java/Spring Boot for back-end services and React.js for front-end interfaces.
• Lead Agile ceremonies, collaborate with Product Owners to translate business needs into actionable tasks, manage velocity and blockers.
• Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers and establish engineering best practices.
• Oversee testing to ensure data accuracy across complex partner hierarchies.
