Job summary

Hitachi Federal is seeking a Federal Data Engineer to serve as the technical lead for enterprise data solutions on client engagements. You will design and implement data pipelines, APIs, and integrations, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to service offerings as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field (or equivalent).
• Minimum 8 years of enterprise software engineering, data engineering, or professional services consulting.
• Experience leading technical implementation projects in enterprise environments.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of complex professional services engagements from design through implementation.
• Design enterprise-scale data engineering solutions meeting customer requirements.
• Lead customer architecture workshops and solution reviews.
• Translate customer objectives into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop Java-based applications, APIs, integrations, and automation.
• Create reusable software components and integration frameworks.
• Design scalable data pipelines and orchestration workflows.
• Implement RESTful API integrations between enterprise systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers and cross-functional teams.
