Job summary

Lilly seeks a Technical Lead Architect to steer the Global Patient Safety technology landscape. You will align architectural strategy across safety systems, data products, and adjacent platforms, emphasizing security, compliance, and scalable integration.

You’ll work with Product Engineering, Cyber Security, and Infra teams to drive modernization and AI-enabled capabilities while guiding developers and analysts across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, software engineering, IT, or related field.
• 8+ years in IT architecture, systems integration, or technical lead roles on enterprise-scale projects for Patient Safety.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction of complex initiatives across Global Patient Safety.
• Lead data and solution integration across the ecosystem and ensure reliable connectivity.
• Develop architecture roadmaps, standards, and reference architectures.
• Research and apply emerging tech like AI/ML and agentic workflows.
• Champion modernization, resilience, and reduce technical debt.
• Embed secure and AI-assisted engineering to accelerate delivery.
• Define integration patterns and engineering standards for GPS teams.
• Share knowledge across teams to broaden impact.
• Serve as Technical System Owner for GPS systems' lifecycle and compliance.
• Provide hands-on guidance to developers and support teams.
• Partner with Software Product Engineering, Cyber Security, and Infrastructure for aligned strategies.
