Human Power BG is seeking a Senior Tech Lead for an EU blockchain project. You will lead a team of 10+ developers, coordinate work between multiple teams, and collaborate closely with the ChromaWay core team to deliver complex features for the EU initiative.

Requirements include 10+ years of professional experience with leadership, strong Java/Kotlin/SQL skills, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Google Cloud) and Docker.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

The European Union is looking into creating EU-wide cross-border public services using blockchain technology. To achieve this complex goal, they have established European Blockchain Services Infrastructure and enabled all European blockchain companies to compete to become a part of it. There are three phases in total, and the company has become the finalist participating in the last phase and presenting its product called Relational Blockchain Nebula (RBN). The company demonstrated the potential for Relational Blockchain Nebula (RBN) to address two important use cases: Digital Product Passports and Intellectual Property Rights. Phase 2B is about finalizing the use cases and testing the blockchain to prove that we can become THE blockchain for the EU. It is a chance to become a part of the team building THE blockchain that will be used by millions of Europeans in the future.

ABOUT THE JOB

The candidate should have experience of working with Java or Kotlin, as well as SQL.

As the project is fully based on relational blockchain, the right candidate have to be flexible enough to learn the Rell language in a short period of time.

It will be necessary to read large amounts of information and write reports on the work conducted.
We are looking for a developer with interest in theory and capable of taking on challenges.

ABOUT THE CANDIDATE

The Tech lead will lead a team of 10+ developers for the project sponsored by the EU. Their tasks will include coordinating and prioritizing the work between different teams; working closely with the ChromaWay core team; working on the complex features that will contribute to the software package delivered for the EU.

REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ years of professional experience, including leading tech team
• Languages and frameworks: Java/ Kotlin/ SQL/ PostgresSQL
• Architecture & platforms: AWS; Google Cloud; Rest; Docker
• Methods: Agile Methods
• Experience working with blockchain enterprise solutions is a plus
• Experience with Hyperledger Besu or R3 Corda is a plus
• Academic background/Enterprise-level tech documentation experience

• Languages: English is a working language
