Job summary

Tech Mahindra in Missouri seeks a senior Principal Software Engineer with strong C and C++ expertise to drive architecture and quality in embedded and real-time distributed systems. You will lead design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and shape the development roadmap while embracing Agile practices on Linux platforms.

You will partner with Product Management, define interfaces between systems, and advise on deployment strategies, while driving process improvements and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher is the minimum entry.
• Extensive C/C++ coding experience.
• Experience leading teams and mentoring junior engineers.
• Strong experience with automation and CI/CD.
• Developed software for Linux platforms.
• Familiar with Agile development practices.
• Background in embedded or real-time distributed systems.
• Commitment to quality and engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Management to elaborate features, stories, and test strategy.
• Create technical designs and assign work to developers.
• Develop complex stories in C and write unit tests in C++ (Google Test).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other Principals and Leads to define interfaces and interactions between systems

The pay range for this role is $115,000- $120,000per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
