Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Alabama Teacher's Certificate.
• Must meet ESSA federal and state requirements or willingness to meet them.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technology to plan and provide instruction and facilitate student learning.
• Model appropriate and innovative use of technology for students.
• Facilitate and monitor the integration of technology in the classroom.
• Provide modifications for students with special needs, including ELL and exceptional education students.
• Select, develop, modify and adapt materials supporting learning objectives.
• Establish routines and behavior management procedures.
• Participate in administration of local and state testing.
• Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and plan instruction.
• Communicate high learning expectations and set real-world targets.
• Ensure safety procedures and proper handling of materials and equipment.
• Foster diversity, integrity, and respectful conduct.
• Supervise extracurricular activities as assigned.
• Support school improvement initiatives and participate in programs.

Education
