Job summary

Arc3 Gases, Inc. in Charlotte, NC seeks an Inside Sales Representative to support walk-in customers with technical gas and welding products. You will deliver excellent service, advise on equipment needs, and assist the sales team with orders and stock management.

The role requires strong product knowledge, customer service skills, and the ability to work independently. A CDL endorsement and clean driving record are required for occasional deliveries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Welding or Technical Education is preferred.
• Must be able to work in the United States and be 21 years or older.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 75lbs of merchandise as needed.
• Must have a valid license with clean driving record.
• Must be willing to obtain a Class B CDL with hazmat endorsement.
• Must have computer skills or some knowledge of computer order entry system.
• Must have exceptional customer service communication skills.
• Must have the ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Sell industrial, medical, and specialty gases along with welding supplies and related equipment to walk-in customers.
• Provide excellent customer service in a timely manner by answering phone calls, handling customer complaints, and processing purchases.
• Advise customers on equipment and materials needed and procedures to follow to complete tasks.
• Share information with Arc3 personnel about customer needs and potential sales.
• Coordinate with purchasing when there is product shortage or outages.
• Deliver products to customers when needed using company vehicle.
• Maintain professional demeanor and appearance; support team members with orders and supplies.
