Federated Service Solutions in Plymouth, MI is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to lead technology infrastructure, low voltage, fiber optic, and related deployment projects in a hybrid work environment. You will serve as the primary contact for customers, field technicians, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure safe, on-time, in-scope, and on-budget project delivery.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background with field-to-PM progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of project management experience supporting technology infrastructure, low voltage, telecommunications, structured cabling, networking, or fiber optic projects.
• Excellent client-facing, written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience utilizing project management platforms such as Microsoft Project, Quickbase, Smartsheet, Voyager, or similar systems.
• Experience working directly with field technicians, installation teams, and subcontractors.
• Strong project planning, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Coordinate customers, subcontractors, field resources, and internal stakeholders throughout project execution.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Maintain project margins, internal project metrics and KPI’s.
• Exceed customer SLA’s and ensure a 24-hour response time.
• Manage low voltage, structured cabling, fiber optic, network infrastructure, and technology deployment projects.
• Identify and mitigate project risks before they impact schedule, budget, or customer satisfaction.
