Universal Orlando Resort is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support entertainment shows by conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance of audio, lighting, video, and related systems. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, data entry, and timely communication on repairs with a strong safety mindset.
Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years of experience with entertainment equipment, an AA or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and be capable of interpreting technical drawings
Supports Entertainment shows and offerings by conducting daily venues start up and assessments, performing routine preventative, diagnostic, and corrective maintenance of entertainment elements within show offerings. Utilize intermediate technical knowledge and understanding of audio/lighting/video elements, mechanical effects, electrical systems, and stage elements. Handles trouble calls, completes special projects and shop work as assigned by supervisor and Lead.
