Job summary

D.A. Davidson & Co. in Portland, OR is accepting applications for Experienced Analyst positions in the Investment Banking Technology Group. The Analyst will work with senior bankers on mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, private placements and other advisory services.

The program includes training with Wall Street Prep in the first year, mentorship from senior bankers, and ongoing training to advance over a three-year period, with promotion to Associate after three years.

Qualifications

• 1 year to 18 months experience in Sell-Side M&A.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 3.5 GPA.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Able to handle multiple projects with competing priorities.
• Basic corporate finance and accounting knowledge.
• Securities Industry Essentials Exam; Series 79 and Series 63 after hire.

Responsibilities

• Work on a team within the Technology industry vertical and develop industry knowledge.
• Support the team’s projects, including business development and transactions.
• Create financial analyses for valuation, projections, and peer analysis.
• Prepare materials for assignments, such as pitch books and information memos.
• Coordinate and perform due diligence.
• Participate in recruiting efforts.
