Job summary

Cardinal Health’s cCARE Cancer Center in Fresno is seeking a Phlebotomist/Lab Tech to perform patient blood draws and enter test orders into the system. You will collaborate with physicians and lab staff to troubleshoot issues and maintain lab efficiency while ensuring accurate processing of samples and proper supply inventory.

The role requires attention to detail, 0-2 years of experience (preferred), and a High School Diploma or GED with CPT eligibility.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience, preferred
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician License or eligible for Certification (already scheduled to take CPT exam)
• Dependable, patient care focused, solid organizational skills and attention to details is critical for the role
• Ability to follow processes and procedures

The Laboratory job family performs services where blood, bodily fluids, or other tissue samples are taken for diagnostic testing to determine the appropriate plan of care.
