Sun Chemical Corporation is seeking an Ink Inplant Tech I in Clearfield, UT for first shift. You will provide basic color matching and small batch blending on-site at the customer location, supporting ink production and QC to meet specifications.

This is a customer-facing role requiring interpersonal skills, with responsibilities including color toning, record-keeping, and ensuring safe operations in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years industry experience.
• Knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook; as well as dispensing and color match software.
• Customer-facing role requiring strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lb and move 500 lb drums per procedures.
• Able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Ink Inplant Tech I

Location: Clearfield, UT

First Shift: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

OVERVIEW

Under minimal supervision, provide some basic color matching and small batch blending support on-site at the customer location.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Produce and quality control inks to ensure inks meet or exceed the customer's specifications.
• Provide some press side technical support, mainly color toning.
• Maintain detailed production and QC records.
• Identify a basic level of rework opportunities based on review of batch tickets.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe operations
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lb. buckets; and move 500 lb. drums following standard procedures.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years industry experience
• Knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook; as well as dispensing and color match software
• This is a customer-facing position that requires a high degree of interpersonal skill.
