Job summary

Sun Chemical in Southgate, MI is seeking a Tech I Inplant AJM (7050). Under minimal supervision, you will provide basic color matching and small-batch blending support on-site at the customer location.

You will produce and QC inks to meet customer specifications, offer limited press-side color toning, keep detailed production records, and uphold safe, efficient operations. High School Diploma with 1+ year experience and proficiency in MS Word/Excel/Outlook are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years industry experience
• Knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook; as well as dispensing and color match software
• This is a customer-facing position that requires a high degree of interpersonal skill.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lb. buckets; and move 500 lb. drums following operating procedures
• Able to stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities
