Job summary

WEX, Inc. is seeking a self-driven Financial Analyst to join our FP&A Technology team.

You will partner with Technology & Digital leadership to deliver budgeting, forecasting, and reporting that informs strategic investments across global Tech and Product teams. Responsibilities include preparing high-quality financial reports, performing deep-dive cost analyses, supporting capital planning, and driving process improvements with automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably supporting technology or IT.
• Advanced Excel skills with complex modeling and pivot tables.
• Experience translating financial findings for senior leadership.
• Ability to partner with Technology leaders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: deliver high-quality reporting of Technology & Digital operating expenses and deep-dive cost analyses for ELT stakeholders.
• Strategic Business Partnering: act as a thought partner to Technology leaders and connect Technology & Digital teams with Commercial Finance partners.
• Close & Compliance: manage monthly/quarterly close, accruals, reclasses, and SOX controls in line with accounting policies.
• System Integration & Data Accuracy: consolidate inputs from time-tracking tools and financial systems to maintain data integrity.
• Process Automation & Improvement: drive automation and standardization to shift focus to value-added analysis.
• Capital Planning Support: enhance and implement capital planning tools for Technology.
