Under routine supervision you will participate in engineering and technology tasks on an assigned team and gain exposure to other disciplines, with up to 40 hours per week. Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a technology-related degree program with GPA requirements.
• Preference for related computer/IT engineering studies.
• Be able to work up to 40 hours per week during summer.

Responsibilities

• Expand knowledge of the transportation industry and related systems.
• Perform limited analysis and design tasks.
• May troubleshoot and address bugs with assistance from senior team members.
• Learn software development lifecycle processes through training and participation.
• Develop awareness of quantitative methods, programming, optimization, and solution design for data analysis.
• Assist with solving problems by analyzing internal and external data.
• Develop scripts and automation of infrastructure processes (cybersecurity, database engineering, or cloud) under guidance.
• Learn to diagnose systems problems.
