Under routine supervision, you will participate in tasks across analytics, software development lifecycle, and automation with guidance from senior engineers, preparing you for a career in logistics technology.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a technology-related degree program (CS, CE, IT, IE).
• GPA 2.75 overall, 3.0 in major; HS students in STEM program considered.
• Able to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer.

Responsibilities

• Expand knowledge of the transportation industry and related systems; perform limited analysis and design tasks.
• Troubleshoot and address bugs with assistance from senior team members.
• Understand the software development lifecycle via participation and training.
• Gain knowledge of quantitative methods, programming, optimization, and data analysis.
• Assist with process improvement by analyzing operations, pricing, finance and customer data.
• Develop scripts to automate infrastructure processes under senior guidance (cybersecurity, database, cloud).
• Learn to diagnose systems problems.
