Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Corporate Technology Associate in Buffalo, NY. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in general corporate law, technology-focused commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and contracts.

Duties

• Assist in corporate and commercial law and technology-focused transactions.
• Draft and review corporate documents and technology contracts.
• Conduct due diligence reviews for mergers and acquisitions.
• Evaluate compliance with laws and regulations.
• Perform legal research on corporate and technology matters.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams under supervision.
• Participate in client meetings and business development efforts.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across practice areas.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)

Certifications

• Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

• Experience with technology-driven corporate transactions.
• Understanding of SaaS, IP licensing, and data privacy regulations.
