Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Corporate Associate for a well known Buffalo firm. The position offers a hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite per week and an annual salary of $120,000-$140,000.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a law firm or corporate department with M&A and contract review.
• Admission to NY state bar.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of corporate and commercial agreements, including M&A, financing, shareholder, and other transactional documents.
• Provide strategic legal advice and support for M&A activities, including due diligence, negotiation, deal structuring, and post-acquisition integration.
• Assist team in all areas of corporate and commercial law with a broad range of technology-focused transactions.
• Evaluate and research corporate, technology, and regulatory matters.
• Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes.
• Conduct technology and data privacy focused due diligence reviews.
