Job summary

Eastman Chemical Company in Kingsport, TN is seeking a Facilities Engineer to oversee reliability and Asset Integrity across Technology Operations. You will liaise between Operations, Maintenance, Process Safety, and Engineering to sustain safe, reliable facility performance.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering background with 3+ years in related disciplines, plus familiarity with SAP. You will lead safety improvements, capital planning, and incident investigations in a fast-paced team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years in an R&D, Engineering and/or Operations role preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP and LOTO (safety program) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability efforts for Technology to prioritize maintenance needs.
• Lead Technology's Asset Integrity standards implementation with SMEs.
• Provide technical support across Operations, Maintenance, Process Safety, and Engineering for AIM programs.
• Support Technology Operations facilities reliability events as they arise.
• Participate in weekly maintenance scheduling meetings and voice Technology's perspective.
• Perform detailed maintainability studies and downtime analyses.
• Identify safety concerns and implement corrective measures.
• Develop capital project proposals with WWEC for scope and estimates.
• Serve as Div Rep on facilities-related capital projects for Technology.
• Assist CPM in capital planning and execution for Technology facilities.
• Facilitate incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Lead or participate in shutdown and start-up activities.
