Job summary

Dimensional Innovations, Inc. is seeking a Technology Estimator to evaluate client needs and craft initial technology solutions across software, hardware, and infrastructure.

You will bridge communication between Estimating, Sales, Creative and Technology to align on technical solutions and estimate workbooks for complex projects. The role requires 3–5 years of experience in technology project estimation, strong Excel/Sheets skills, and a background in AV systems or system design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• CTS Certification is a plus along with manufacturer level certifications (Crestron, QSC, Biamp) or entry level industry certification such as AVIXA Technologist.
• Expert level with using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets required.
• 3-5 years relevant work experience including creating estimates for technology projects with hardware and software needs.
• Experience with commercial A/V or high-end residential A/V is a plus including LCD video walls and direct view LED walls.

Responsibilities

• Create estimate workbooks for jobs involving software development, tech hardware, system engineering, installation, and service.
• Identify opportunities for process and pricing improvements, both on a project and department level.
• Assist with and participate in brainstorming sessions to develop potential solutions for client needs.
• Determine feasibility of interactive technology concepts and architect potential system design solutions.
• Collaborates with Solutions Engineer team to stay informed about new technologies and competitors.

Our people make the remarkable possible through an unwavering display of uncommon commitment each day.Reporting to the Director of Estimating, the Technology Estimator is responsible for evaluating the needs of a client/project by providing initial technology solutions to achieve a design concept or goal and determining how the Technology team can support those needs leveraging software, hardware, or infrastructure.
