Job summary

Continental is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations in Elmira. You will pick and pack orders using a LightSpeed/iPad workflow, maintain FIFO inventory, and assist with loading/unloading trucks for routes. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED and fluent English, with comfort using inventory tech. Prior warehouse experience and forklift readiness are pluses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English.
• Comfortable using technology (iPads, inventory systems).
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
• Ability to operate or willingness to learn electric pallet jack; forklift certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack orders using technology (e.g., iPad, LightSpeed system).
• Organize and maintain inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
• Load and unload trucks for routes and markets.
• Replenish stock and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Read schedules, work orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved or distributed.
• Communicate inventory discrepancies to team leaders.
• Record accurate inventory counts of products picked, packed, scrapped, and excess.
• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
