Job summary

Hancock Claims Consultants in the United States is seeking RoofField Inspectors to join our independent contractor network. You will perform assessments on steep and high roofs, evaluate exterior and interior damage, and conduct underwriting property inspections using cutting-edge technology.

This is an Independent Contractor role requiring safety, reliability, professionalism, and empathy when dealing with insureds; roofing or insurance claims background is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must have a reliable vehicle capable of transporting a 32' ladder.
• Must have a Lidar-equipped device or the ability to obtain one.
• Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office applications including Outlook and Teams.
• HAAG Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on steep and high roofs, evaluating exterior and interior damage.
• Perform underwriting property inspections using technology to assess property damage.
• Provide professional and empathetic interactions with insureds during inspections.
