Job summary

Cumberland County Schools is seeking a Professional Learning Facilitator to support the Academic Services Team by delivering innovative, high-quality professional development across online, face-to-face, and WebEx formats. This role emphasizes digital integration and coaching to enhance instructional practice for CCS staff.

The position reports to the Director of Professional Development and requires a four-year degree with substantial teaching or PD experience; master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• A four-year degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience/professional development instruction.
• Master’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, model, and support the instructional mission across CCS staff.
• Plan, facilitate, co-teach, and model effectively integrating technology using online, face-to-face, and WebEx for CEU credit.
• Support and share knowledge of district technology and curriculum initiatives such as Google Apps for Education.
• Identify and plan professional learning opportunities aligned with digital integration competencies and deliver coaching and training.
• Create, deploy, and update web-based professional development materials and courses.
