Job summary

Reading School District is seeking a Professional Development Facilitator to support PK-8 instructional improvement. The role collaborates with district leadership to implement best practices, deliver diverse professional development, and assess impact on student learning.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Education (Master's preferred), a PA Teaching Certificate Instructional Level II, and at least five years of teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education required; Master's Degree in Education; Minimum of five years teaching experience.
• PA Teaching Certificate Instructional Level II; Valid PA driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Delivers professional development during the school year and throughout the summer in a variety of formats.
• Schedules and engages in classroom visitations to support teachers in planning, delivering and assessing content instruction.
• Collects, compiles and analyzes professional development data to determine effectiveness and informs the Professional Development Plan.
