Job summary

Southern Glazer’s Operations and Supply Chain internship in Las Vegas offers hands-on exposure to the wine and spirits distribution system. You will engage across Warehouse Management, Inventory, Demand Planning, Replenishment, Transportation, and SCM Technology, shadow SCM leadership, and tour distribution centers to see theory translate into practice.

Qualifications

Residence near the internship or ability to obtain housing.
21 years of age or older at start of internship.
Preferred degrees: Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain/Logistics, Operations Management.
Ability to organize and manage multiple projects.
Teamwork approach to accomplishing goals.
Attention to details.
Self-starter with demonstrated leadership experience.
Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to secure and maintain a valid driver’s license and auto-liability insurance per state laws.
Ability to secure and maintain a State Sales Permit per state laws.

Responsibilities

Shadow SCM leadership and tour distribution centers.
Hands-on experience in multiple Supply Chain/Operations functions.
Involves Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Demand Planning, Replenishment, Inbound Transportation, Delivery, EHS, Fleet Management, and SCM Technology.
