Job summary

Skyline Furniture Mfg. seeks a hands-on Director of Finance & Accounting to lead our accounting and financial operations with a systems-minded approach.

This role collaborates across manufacturing, operations, supply chain, sales, HR, and IT to drive improvements through technology, automation, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will combine a strong finance foundation with an operational mindset, and will mentor the accounting and finance team while reporting to the executive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and controls.
• Experience solving business problems through data analysis and process improvement.
• Experience collaborating with manufacturing, operations, and IT.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, especially Business Central, and data integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and finance operations, including GL, AP, AR, cash, fixed assets, payroll, and reporting.
• Ensure timely GAAP-compliant monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
• Oversee monthly close and drive accuracy, efficiency, and controls.
• Develop KPIs, financial analysis, and business partner with operations.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning activities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
