Job summary

The City of Campbell’s Campbell Police Department is seeking a motivated Community Services Officer to support sworn officers and civilian staff with investigations, evidence processing, prisoner transport, and field services. Qualifications

• Equivalent to graduation from high school; one year of paid or volunteer work involving considerable contact with the public.
• Must complete a 160 hour corrections academy within 1 year from hire date.
• Must complete the 832 PC class within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of civilian duties for the Police Department including investigations, patrol, records, and transport.
• Assist with bookings on arrestees and transport prisoners to County jail.
• Provide first aid and CPR when necessary; render support to sworn officers and staff.
