Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an Aptitude Project Manager 1 to assist in constructability reviews, conceptual estimating and coordinating with project teams on technology scopes. The role demands strong leadership, communication and PM skills to integrate Aptitude work across select projects.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and vendor pricing, track milestones and drive adoption of Aptitude processes to achieve safety, quality and profitability goals, while aligning with JE Dunn's values.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT/security/life-safety systems
• 5+ years of project management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in CM, IT or related field (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Assist in constructability reviews and conceptual estimating.
• Coordinate technology-related design and construction efforts with project teams.
• Provide technical expertise related to design assist, installation, and network integration of systems.
• Create technology-specific scopes of work and responsibility matrices.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and obtain vendor & trade pricing for budgets or proposals.
• Manage budgets, costs and projections for assigned projects.
• Develop Aptitude processes and standards; support deployment.
• Lead, coach and motivate team members toward JE Dunn objectives.
• Track progress and report milestones; resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure project documents are properly managed and archived.
