Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a senior program manager to plan, coordinate, and deliver defined deliverables for a larger program across multiple organizations. You will manage outcomes, timelines, and costs while aligning with risk and compliance partners.

You will lead vision and roadmap, coordinate with stakeholders, manage budgets, and ensure execution meets target outcomes with strong governance and collaboration across business and technology teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in product management or product ownership, with at least 2+ years focused on cloud.
• Experience integrating compute platforms into new or greenfield data center environments.
• Proven experience leading strategic platform modernization initiatives, from architecture design through build, validation, and production rollout.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into technical product requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Generates the vision and roadmap for the program based on customer requirements, industry trends, regulations, and the strategic direction for the business or technology domain
• Communicates the program vision and roadmap to stakeholders, product owners and the teams
• Oversees the budget(s) for one or more products by working closely with finance partners on both personnel and non-personnel expenses
• Provides input into defining business capabilities and aligning them to products or creating new products to support them
• Ensures product availability by partnering closely with demand and capacity teammates
• Develops business cases for new products and additional features for existing products
• Partners with the product owners and the teams to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and subject-matter expertise and understanding of the business and industry trends
• Establish the target outcomes in partnership with the stakeholders and leaders.
• Establish and build relationships with business and technology leaders across multiple organizations, as well as Compliance and Risk.
• Coordinate and facilitate the program routines (for example, kick-off, status reviews, stakeholder o meetings, change controls, tollgates, and so on).
• Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple organizations.
• Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to achieve the target outcomes and timeline.
• Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal.
• Responsible for providing status updates to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to the target outcomes, delivery, risks/issues, and schedule.
• Ensure that execution is aligned with target outcomes by working with the sponsor/stakeholders.
• Ensure the work delivered complies with Enterprise Change Management standards.
• Track the success metrics and review performance with stakeholders and leadership.
