General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Tech Control Facility Technician II to support AFCENT under the CTSS-series contract.
You will perform intermediate hands-on work in installations, repair, and troubleshooting of communications systems and equipment. Responsibilities include fabricating, installing, maintaining, and repairing components, solving complex problems, and coaching junior staff.

- Fabricates, installs, maintains, and repairs electronic, mechanical, and/or other types of components and equipment.

- May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.
- Provides advice and a range of onsite training for customer support personnel.
- Required Technical Skills: Intermediate “hands on” work experience in support of installations, repair, and troubleshooting or maintenance of communications systems or equipment. Must have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand the interrelationships of circuits, and be able to exercise independent judgment in performing tasks in support of communications systems or equipment.
- Security Clearance Level: SECRET
Must meet the certification requirement of DoW 8570.01-M or otherwise stated in SPIN-C or individual task order. The contractor is expected to have, but is not limited to, the following IT certificate:
- Security+
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing & Switching or Service Provider
- Desired Education: Associates of Arts/Associates of Science
- Desired Experience: 3+ years of related experience
- On Customer Site
- US Citizenship Required (for clearance)

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $33.49 - $45.31. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
