Job summary

Bentley Systems seeks a Contracts Negotiator to support the North American group. Based in Exton, PA or from a home office in the United States, you will draft and negotiate commercial technology agreements and assist with RFP responses and non-standard purchase orders.

You will collaborate with sales, finance, product, and information security teams to manage non-standard terms and risk, while handling multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience negotiating and drafting commercial technology contracts.
• Experience with technology licensing, SaaS agreements, and data privacy and information security terms.
• Direct involvement in negotiating common information security provisions (e.g., security audits, incident response, data protection obligations).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain legal and business risks and present contract terms, negotiation issues, and risk analysis to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including technology licenses, SaaS agreements, and exhibits such as data protection and information security terms.
• Support the legal review of customer procurement requests, including RFP responses and non-standard Purchase Orders.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, finance, product, information security) to address non-standard terms and support risk assessment.
• Negotiate information security terms, coordinating with internal account trust and security teams to align on company positions.
• Manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and responsiveness.
