Job summary

Our AmLaw 100 client in the technology sector is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Technology Companies practice in Los Angeles or Santa Monica. The role offers exposure to venture-backed companies and complex lifecycle work across formation through exit.

The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of experience, a background representing technology companies in corporate matters, and a track record in comparable firms, with strong drafting skills and ownership of deal components.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience as a mid-level associate in technology-focused corporate transactions.
• Background representing technology companies in corporate and transactional matters.
• Experience at a comparable law firm.
• Strong drafting skills and comfort taking ownership of deal components.
• Active bar admission or eligibility to obtain promptly.

Responsibilities

• Work across the full lifecycle of technology companies, including formation through exit.
• Handle early and late-stage venture financings, mergers & acquisitions, and offerings.
• Manage meaningful portions of transactions independently while partnering with senior lawyers on complex deals.
