Job summary

Vylor seeks a Procurement Category Manager (Technology) to lead sourcing for Software, SaaS, Hardware, and Technology Services, partnering with stakeholders to drive value, cost savings, and contract optimization.

Hybrid role based in Indianapolis, IN or Johnston, IA with in-person Tue–Thu and remote Mon and Fri.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in sourcing or procurement, plus strong negotiation and analytics; CPSM or equivalent certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 7+ years in sourcing, procurement, category management, or related experience.
• 3–5 years in Technology Category with purchasing experience in Software, SaaS, Hardware, or Cloud services.
• Proven ability to negotiate and manage supplier relationships.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Software, SaaS, Hardware, and Technology Services categories.
• Lead spend analysis, market research, supplier assessments, RFx processes, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and align sourcing plans with priorities.
• Deliver cost savings, supplier performance improvements, risk mitigation, and contract optimization.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance through metrics and reviews.
• Monitor markets and licensing models to inform decisions and identify optimization opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with Procurement and cross-functional teams on strategy execution and process improvements.
• Maintain high standards of ethics, professionalism, and compliance.
