Qualifications

• Customer service skills to interact with personnel, visitors, and vendors.
• Experience with access control/badge procedures is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to facilities and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Assist with maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized access and supports a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
