Job summary

Amazon Media Venture LLC is seeking a Tech Business Developer III for remote work across the U.S. You will engage with mid-level customers to understand business needs and map them to AWS cloud services, while tracking adoption metrics and driving improvements.

The role requires managing multiple engagements in a fast-moving cloud market. You will prepare business reviews for executives, educate teams across AWS markets, and coordinate complex contract negotiations with the legal group.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in related field with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, Bachelor's degree with five years' progressive post-baccalaureate experience.
• Experience in sales / business development, pipeline management, and cloud technologies.

Location: Virtual Location - Seattle, WA

Multiple Positions Available:

Engage in mid-level customer meetings to discuss customer’s business issues and explores how new Cloud services can help address and resolve these issues. Establish ways to measure and track metrics related to adoption of the service, and to make improvements to the approach based on those measurements. Prepare and give business reviews to the management team regarding progress and metrics. Educate and enable the teams and increase visibility of support across all AWS markets. Manage complex contract negotiations and liaison with the legal group. Handle a high volume of engagements and the fast pace of the cloud computing market. 100% telecommuting permitted, work may be performed from anywhere in the U.S.

Basic Qualifications

Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to a master’s degree and one year of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): experience in sales/business development, managing pipelines, and achieving programming results; and application of cloud technologies.

The pay range for this position in Seattle, WA is $147900 - $200100 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided by Washington Equal Pay Act. Base pay information is based on market location.
