Job summary

Talnt is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to bridge business operations, data analytics, and technology solutions in a full-time, on-site role in Northeast Ohio. You will gather technical requirements, develop SQL-based reporting, and build BI dashboards while integrating data across systems to improve operational performance.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in business systems analysis, strong SQL and Python skills, and experience with Power BI, APIs, and data visualization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IS, CS, Business Analytics or related field.
• 2–3 years in Technical Business Analyst / related roles.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, joining tables and validation.
• Experience with Python for data analysis, automation, or integrations.
• Dashboards/reports using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools.
• Understanding REST APIs and data integrations across systems.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements with operations, finance, IT, warehouse, and leadership.
• Analyze processes and data workflows to identify automation opportunities.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries across relational databases.
• Develop BI dashboards and automated reports and scorecards.
• Use Python for data transformations and reporting automation.
• Coordinate with developers, IT, vendors, and stakeholders on integrations and testing.
• Investigate reporting discrepancies and validate data quality.
• Support multiple technology and reporting initiatives end-to-end.
