Job summary

Valley Health System in Montvale, NJ is seeking a phlebotomist to perform blood collection for in-office patients. You will register tests, order tests as needed, determine medical necessity, and process specimens while delivering friendly, patient-focused service.

Experience

A minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience required. Customer service experience preferred.

Skills

Excellent phlebotomy skills. ASCP certified preferred. Ability to set priorities, multi-task and be detail oriented. Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with patients, staff, physician offices, etc. Excellent organizational and problem solving skills. Good typing skills. Position may require rotating to other VMG locations from time to time when necessary.
