Valley Health System is seeking a phlebotomist to perform phlebotomy on in-office patients in Montvale, NJ. The role includes registering and ordering tests, determining medical necessity, and handling specimens while providing excellent customer service to providers and patients.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience; ASCP certification is preferred. Day shift, onsite at Montvale location with potential location rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year phlebotomy experience required.
• ASCP certification preferred if available.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy on in-office patients.
• Register and order tests; determine medical necessity.
• Respond to provider/patient inquiries by phone, fax, or printouts about test status and specimen requirements.
• Rotate to other Valley Health System locations as needed.
