Job summary

X-Ray Associates of New Mexico is hiring for a full-time position focused on processing, storing, and retrieving patient records and films. The candidate will support Technologists and assist with patient workflow and exams in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to handle fluctuating workflow, and proficiency with Windows. BLS certification and knowledge of imaging terminology are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Must be able to deal with fluctuating workflow, and under occasional tight deadlines.
• Concentration and attention to detail in spite of constant interruptions a must.
• Must be able to operate computer using Windows Operating System.
• Previous knowledge of medical terminology, imaging modalities, and procedures preferred.
• Previous skills in operation of Hard Copy Film Viewing System and general office equipment preferred.
• Experience starting IVs preferred.
• BLS Certification required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and support a fast-paced clinical environment
• Must maintain patient privacy and comply with HIPAA standards
• Ability to stand/walk for most of the day and assist with patient movement (lifting up to 75 lbs)

X-Ray Associates of New Mexico has a Full Time position available for a detail-oriented person, who works well with multiple high-level computer software programs, and can keep up with a heavy workload. To provide for the processing distribution, storage, and retrieval of patient records and films within the office facility assigned and assist Technologists in patient workflow and in the completion of patient exams.
