Job summary

Plante Moran is seeking a Business Technology Advisory Consulting intern for Summer 2027. The role is on-site in Chicago, IL and other locations, with opportunities to work alongside experienced advisors on enterprise software and technology strategy projects.

You will participate in business analysis, software assessments, roadmaps, vendor evaluations, and change management activities, gaining exposure to manufacturing, distribution, medical devices, and other industries.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in MIS, Industrial Engineering, SCM, Operations Management, IT Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Academic success with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Responsibilities

• Performing business analysis activities, including supporting client interviews, documenting processes, identifying technology needs, and translating requirements into enterprise software recommendations.
• Supporting enterprise software assessment and roadmap projects by evaluating current-state apps, gaps, and future-state options.
• Assisting with enterprise software selection efforts, including vendor solution research, RFP support, and client decision deliverables.
• Supporting implementation advisory projects by tracking activities, documenting risks, organizing materials, and aiding change management.
