Job description

Technician 2, Maintenance for Drug Product Finished Goods (DPFG) is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Drug Product (DP) related systems/equipment (e.g., filling line, automated inspection line, formulation, and isolation). This role ensures the systems meet stringent pharmaceutical manufacturing requirements, conducts regular inspections and preventive maintenance on DP-related equipment to ensure efficient operation with minimal downtime.

Shift

Second shift – from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (Monday to Friday)

What You’ll Do

• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on facility equipment within the assigned building(s)
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment malfunctions
• Assists in the installation and commissioning of equipment, as needed
• Maintains accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Adheres to all safety requirements, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols to ensure compliance with safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) quality standards
• Provides recommendations to develop preventative maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime
• Performs spare parts assessments, as required
• Notifies management or Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) when unsafe conditions or hazards are found
• Supports site operations and emergency work orders during off‑hours, as needed
• Performs other duties, as assigned

Preferred Skills

• Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical engineering or a related field
• Prior maintenance experience in a pharmaceutical or similar manufacturing environment
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
