JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Lehigh Valley LaunchBox offers a Teen Entrepreneurship Challenge camp for students in grades 9-12, held at the Penn State Berks campus. Support summer residential camp from Sun. July 27th to Sat. August 2, 2025.

Ideal candidates are college students in Business, Science, Engineering, or Education interested in entrepreneurship. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to diversity, co-curricular education, and sustainability, with excellent communication skills. A mandatory training session will be held prior to the camp.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting instructors and students with projects
• Monitoring students during evening activities
• Supervising small group break-out sessions
• Creating a fun, inclusive learning environment
• Ensuring a safe, high-quality experience for high school students

Requirements:

• Availability during instruction hours and evening activities
• Participation in all breakout sessions and instruction times
• Completion of Reporting Child Abuse training per University Policy AD72

Necessary clearances:

• PA State Police Criminal Background Check
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance
• FBI Criminal Background Check
