Job summary

AerSale, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee attendance, supervise weekly work records, and ensure adherence to company policies and FAA/IPM regulations. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and strong safety leadership.

The successful candidate will manage manpower, coach team members, and participate in meetings about critical paths and aircraft status, while promoting a culture of safety and efficiency across maintenance operations.

Qualifications

• A&P license preferred and/ or 3 years aircraft maintenance experience.
• Must be able to read, write and understand the English language.
• Must be able to lift fifty pounds.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, crouch and stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain attendance records of assigned crew.
• Audit and approve weekly work records of assigned work group.
• Ensure accountability to conduct themselves within company policies and regulations.
• Evaluate vacation requests against scheduling/manpower requirements and respond as needed.
• Promote a culture of safety by monitoring self and others to ensure duties are performed per the Safety Manual.
• Manage operations to minimize waste and improve productivity.
• Provide coaching, counseling and guidance to the assigned work group.
• Attend meetings to discuss critical path areas, planned work, and aircraft status.
• Perform daily area inspections to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Monitor safety during shifts and assign proper manpower for tasks.
• Monitor mechanics progress and provide guidance and training as needed.

Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain attendance records of assigned crew.

• Audit and approve weekly work records of assigned work group

• Ensure accountability to conduct themselves within the guidelines of company policies, work rules and regulatory regulation.

• Evaluate vacation requests against scheduling/manpower requirements and respond as needed

• Promote a culture of safety by monitoring self and others to assure all duties are performed within the guidelines as specified by the Compony Safety Manual.

• Manage operations in the most effective manner eliminating waste and improving productivity

• Provide coaching, counseling and guidance to assigned work group.

• Perform any disciplinary actions required within assigned work group in compliance with established guidelines

• Attend meetings as needed to discuss critical path areas, planned work, critical parts, and overall aircraft status.

• Perform a daily area inspection to ensure a clean and safe working environment

• Monitor confined space compliance

• Ensure all IPM & FAA regulations are adhered to

• Complete accident investigation and follow-up as needed

• Perform periodic in-process audits of assigned crew

• Monitor safety during work-shift

• Assign the proper manpower to perform work assignments

• Monitor mechanics progress and give guidance

• Ensure technical training is provided to employees as needed

Education and Experience:

• A & P License preferred and/ or 3 years aircraft maintenance experience

Abilities and Skills:

• Must be able to read, write and understand the English language

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift fifty pounds

• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, twist, kneel. Crouch and stand for prolonged periods of time as well as walk extended distances

Must be able to climb stairs, ladders and service stands
