Job summary

R&S Lowndes Management, LLC is seeking a Drug & Alcohol Counselor (TEAP Specialist) in Darby, PA to support Job Corps students with education, prevention, assessment, and intervention services.

The TEAP Specialist will deliver substance use education within Career Success Standards, conduct assessments, and provide counseling while collaborating with a multidisciplinary wellness team. This is a full-time role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Certification/licensure in substance abuse counseling (CADC, LADC, or equivalent) REQUIRED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in substance abuse prevention, counseling, or education.
• Strong communication, facilitation, interpersonal, and motivational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide substance abuse education, prevention, and healthy decision-making.
• Conduct individual assessments to identify at-risk students.
• Provide short-term counseling and motivational interviewing.
• Refer students to community resources and outside services.
• Maintain confidential documentation and progress notes.
• Participate in case-management meetings and student-success planning.
