Job summary

Capgemini Engineering, a global leader in engineering services, seeks a Teamcenter PLM Solution Architect to drive enterprise PLM transformations and scalable Teamcenter solutions across global organizations. Remote in the United States, you will lead cross-functional teams and partner with vendors to define standards and roadmaps.

You will map architectures, mentor distributed teams, and engage stakeholders to improve enterprise value through PLM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–8 years of Teamcenter Toolset and Teamcenter Unified experience.
• Development experience in TcU: Java, C++, ITK, SOA.
• Expertise in two or more: BMIDE, Workflow config, custom handlers, AM rule Tree, Java API, SOA TC coding.
• Experience with Teamcenter modules: BOM, Change Management, Requirements, Manufacturing Process Planner, Classification, Structure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management; proven leadership of distributed teams.

About the job you're considering

We are seeking a highly experienced Teamcenter PLM Solution Architect to lead enterprise PLM transformation initiatives, architect scalable Teamcenter solutions, and drive digital engineering programs across global organizations.

Your role

• Architect will be responsible for providing strategic direction for the creation, development, execution, and leadership of all aspects of PLM toolsets

• Manage multiple initiatives, build/maintain strong business relationships, drive solution-oriented discussions with key cross-functional business stakeholders

• Establish close partnership with Vendors, stakeholder and governance body to help drive product roadmap and define/enforce standards and policies.

• Map current PLM application architecture and capabilities to evaluate the technical and business impact of future functional needs.

• Work closely with the Project Manager/Stakeholders, Architects and IT development team to ensure strong communication and integration across value chain.

• Act as trusted advisor to the leadership team regarding enterprise value improvement opportunities that drive efficient use of PLM toolset

• Collaborate with technical team members and external customers to define and implement solutions for PLM/CAE applications including streamlining processes, evaluating impact, updating or replacing existing solutions, determining deliverables, and developing communication plans.

• Interface with staff of all levels and work with PLM vendors for resolutions to highly complex and unique application issues.

Your skills and experience

• Must have an in-depth understanding of Siemens Toolset, including Teamcenter Unified with minimum 6-8 years of experience.

• Experience in Teamcenter development using TcU (Java, C++, ITK, SOA).

• Must be expert in two or more of following areas: BMIDE, Workflow configuration and custom handlers, AM rule Tree, Java API, SOA based TC coding.

• Experience with one/more Teamcenter modules like: BOM Management, Change Management, Requirements manager, Manufacturing Process Planner, Classification, Structure manager.

• Teamcenter: Architecture, BMIDE, AWC, ITK, SOA, RAC, FMS, Dispatcher, 2-Tier & 4-Tier Architecture.

• CAD tools- NX, NX integration with Teamcenter, customization.

• Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS, Azure, Windows/Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, IIS, Tomcat, JBoss, Oracle, SQL Server.

• Strong customer-facing and consulting experience.

• Proven ability to lead and mentor globally distributed teams.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

• Passion for innovation, governance, and PLM transformation.

Nice to have skill

• Experience in Configuring excel reports, Teamcenter reporting.

• Understanding of NX and/or NX integration with Teamcenter, 4GD, NGP experience.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $89,400-$166,398.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
