Qualifications

• OPI language test in target language with Advanced Mid score.
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
• English proficiency required.
• ESL endorsement preferred.
• World Language Endorsement preferred.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using technology and instructional media tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with an English-speaking partner teacher to teach two classes.
• Works under the supervision of the building principal and district personnel.
• Participates in professional development and instructional coaching.
• Develops and uses dual immersion guidelines, strategies and curriculum maps.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to board, state and federal policies.
• Meets with parents for conferences for both classes.
