Key Responsibilities
Check in, inspect, clean, and prepare loaner vehicles for customer use
Shuttle customers to and from the shop as needed while providing a positive customer experience
Enter parts invoices and fuel receipts accurately into the shop's management system
Count and reconcile the cash drawer and match sales records with customer invoices
Receive parts deliveries, verify them against purchase orders, and match invoices with accounts payable records
Track parts inventory, perform regular inventory counts, and pull the correct parts for technician jobs and service orders
Process returns for incorrect or unused parts and ensure credit memos are properly entered and accounted for
Create, file, maintain, and retrieve customer and business records while prioritizing daily tasks and service deadlines
Qualifications
Automotive industry experience
Previous automotive service, parts, or operations experience preferred
Strong organizational, multitasking, customer service, and communication skills
Basic understanding of inventory management and accounts payable processes
Experience using computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel, for data entry and record keeping
Ability to work independently and collaboratively while adapting to process and industry changes
This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
