Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required with supervisory experience in behavioral health, mental health, or child welfare.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in behavioral health, mental health, or child welfare.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight to ensure a safe, structured, and supportive environment for youth and staff.
• Supervise, coach, and support direct-care staff while reinforcing performance expectations and standards.
• Ensure daily routines and rules are developmentally appropriate and consistently implemented.
• Promote positive relationships between staff and youth and maintain professional boundaries.
• Respond to behavioral concerns, incidents, and emergencies per policies.
• Monitor staff performance, attendance, documentation, and completion of tasks.
• Support staff scheduling and ensure appropriate coverage.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports and ensure compliance with standards.
