Job summary

Chuze Fitness in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a part-time Team Member to greet members, guide tours, assist with sign-ups, and help maintain a clean, welcoming space. You will support front desk operations and answer member questions with a friendly, service-oriented approach.

Responsibilities include welcoming guests, providing membership information, and ensuring a positive club experience for families and individuals alike.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming experience for every Chuze member and guest by sharing information about memberships, fitness programs, amenities, equipment, and engaging club tours
• Ensure the club looks its best by completing and coordinating daily cleaning tasks to maintain an exceptionally clean and inviting space for members
• Support front desk operations by assisting with memberships, retail sales, member check-ins, and phone inquiries
• Resolve member questions related to accounts, billing, and club services, partnering with leadership when additional support is needed
• Prepare and serve smoothies (at clubs with Chuze Blends)
• Support a seamless member experience by upholding Kids Club standards and assisting with Kids Club operations as needed, fostering collaboration and ensuring exceptional service for families

Your New Role

Pay Range: $15.25 - $16.30 / hour; based on experience.

Hours: Part-Time

As a Team Member at Chuze, you’ll be at the forefront of creating unforgettable experiences for our current and future members. Your days will be a dynamic blend of warm greetings, epic high fives, mastering the art of phone etiquette, guiding new members through sign-ups and tours, and, of course, ensuring our space sparkles with cleanliness.

Requirements

Your Skills:

• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills over the phone and in person

• Ability to work varied hours, weekends, and opening/closing shifts regularly or as needed

Preferences

• Previous customer service experience
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Bilingual

Physical Abilities

• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
• Ability to walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive arm and hand movements
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to operate a telephone, computer, and other standard office equipment
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and heavier loads with assistance when needed
