Delta Faucet Company in Lapeer, MI is hiring for Production Members & Machine Operators for second shift (2pm–10pm, M–F; weekends may be required). The role offers a base pay of $16.60–$17.80 per hour with a $1/hour shift premium and a limited onboarding bonus of $250.

Responsibilities

Delta Faucet Company in Lapeer, MI has a limited number of roles on our roster for Production Members & Machine Operators for our second shift operations. Work schedule is 2pm - 10pm M-F + weekends often required. Pay range is $16.60-17.80 per hour + $1/hour shift premium. For a limited time we are also offering a $250 onboarding bonus! We also have a bonus for meeting key production metrics which pays out each calendar quarter.

The Delta-Lapeer facility manufactures plastic bath tubs, shower bases and coordinating wall units. It's really cool to pop into a store and see a product that you made on the shelf ready to make someone's home a showcase. Our products are in high demand, and we are ready to hit a home run, but we need your help....

Essential job functions include but are not limited to:

• Lift, carry and place parts on trim fixture
• Use hand tools to smooth rough edges
• Make pass/fail quality decisions based on quality standards
• Prep boxes with labels and instructions
• Lift, carry and place finished parts on the box
• Close and staple the box using staple gun
• Stack completed boxes on the pallet and prep for stretch wrap
• Follow standardized work to meet production and quality expectations
• Participate in team environment with 2 - 5 team members in the area

Physical Requirements of position:

• Frequently lift, push, or pull up to 20lbs. Occasionally work with weights of up to 40lbs. Team lift and rollers are both used.
• Use hands to manipulate and operate hand tools and power tools.
• Able to bend, reach, twist and carry above shoulder / below waist level.
• Able to stand for periods of up to 8 hour shifts, with breaks.
• Able to visually inspect parts for defects.
